PROGRAM/SCREENMODE
==================
- Select
------
A screenmode requester appears which allows the user to change the
selected screenmode (e.g. from DBLPAL to NTSC).
This function will always put the first catalogue page to the front
since the number of thumbnails per page may be subject to change!!!
Should the Autostart function be active the newly selected
screenmode will be kept for the next program run.
The following modes are recommended (please also take a look into
chapter notes/hints):
- PAL:HighRes Interlaced / DBLPAL:HighRes no-flicker
- NTSC:HighRes Interlaced / DBLNTSC:HighRes no-flicker
- EURO72:Productivity
- MULTISCAN:Productivity
- any screen modes of graphic cards (Picasso, Retina etc.)
- Autostart
---------
Should this function have been activated (by check mark) the
current screenmode will be saved in AUTOSTART.PREFS
in the program's path. With the next program run a screenmode
requester will no longer appear and the program will start
automatically within the mode which has been saved within
AUTOSTART.PREFS.
When deactivating Autostart the screenmode requester
will again appear to allow the user to freely select
a screenmode.
NOTES: With a corrupt AUTOSTART.PREFS the program
------ may not, under certain circumstances, be started when
the corresponding screen cannot not be opened.
An error message would appear:
ERROR 55: screen can't be opened!
ERRORCODE: xxx (or similar)
In such a case delete the file AUTOSTART.PREFS from
the PMPro's program directory.
After that the screenmode requester will appear again to
select a valid mode.
